Read as Nuala Forsey bares her soul about her journey with breast cancer in her book The Cancer Club - The club no one wants to join. The Cancer Club is a collection of vignettes that paint pictures of Nuala's life since she was diagnosed with breast cancer
in 2003. Nuala's storytelling will tug at your heart as she recalls her family and friends' reactions to her diagnosis. She describes how it felt to be told that the cancer had spread throughout her body and that her condition had become terminal only to be told a week later that the cancer had not spread and the terminal diagnosis was an error.
The Cancer Club will give breast cancer patients and their loved ones an opportunity to discuss the challenges of acknowledging and dealing with the emotions and fears that can accompany this or indeed any life threatening disease. Download The Cancer Club journal and supporting documents at no cost from the www.cancerclub.co.uk website. The Cancer Club book includes a CD of vignettes recorded by the author.
